Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Department: Accounting FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Status: PT
Reports To: CFO Positions Supervised: N/A
Work Schedule: part-time Monday-Friday
POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for handling accounting and general financial processing functions. These responsibilities include processing accounts payable, banking transactions and monthly account reconciliations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review, process, and record daily AP invoices.
- Review and record banking transactions for corporate bank accounts.
- Reconciliation of assigned general ledger and bank accounts.
- Review, process and reconcile fixed asset additions and related GL accounts.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Complete weekly payments to vendors.
- Respond to vendors and other Allied departments with questions.

Skills & Abilities
Intermediate skill in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience
Accounting or finance background a plus
Experience with AP/AR preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree or related experience preferred
Work Environment - Modern office suite in high rise building in downtown Chicago.
