Donegal Insurance Group has an opening for a Web Developer to join our Marietta, Pennsylvania office.

The Web Developer's primary responsibilities include: to plan, develop, design, establish and maintain the commercial lines portal internet sites using technical expertise to achieve the company's marketing, services and information goals.

• Designs, develops and implements web site software using developmental languages such as HTML, Java Script, VB Script and ASP.NET

• Assists with the web server including software installations, upgrades and performance tuning to maintain appropriate service levels and insure user response times fall within acceptable parameters

• Proficient in writing SQL queries to access information from back end databases, primarily Oracle

Position Requirements:

• Minimum two years Web site developmental experience

• Experience with a variety of web site development tools and software such as IIS, HTML, Java Script, VB Script, ASP.NET

• Experience with relational database programming using SQL

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Communications or related field or equivalent experience
