Multiline Commercial Underwriter – Missouri

Growing Property and Casualty Insurance carrier is seeking Commercial Multiline Underwriters for their Missouri operation. Our client is looking for experienced commercial underwriters from anywhere in the country!  Candidates will be responsible for the underwriting and marketing of new and renewal business for all commercial lines. Developing strong relationships with and managing agency plants is a key part of this job. The accounts are in the small to mid-sized account range and are 70% Casualty and 30% Property in nature.  Our client is looking for someone who would like to move up in the organization in the future. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the underwriting and marketing of commercial Property and Casualty Insurance accounts on a multiline basis in a carrier
•  Solid track record with retail agents
• 4 year college degree is required 
• Professional Insurance designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM etc. are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong technical underwriting and relationship building skills will be important
