Job Overview
Insurance Claims Examiner - Albany, NY
Wright Risk Management Company, LLC is seeking an Insurance Claims Examiner for the Albany, NY area. The candidate will manage all phases of an inventory of litigated and non-litigated general liability and commercial auto liability, bodily injury claims.
Further responsibilities include providing superior customer service and obtain favorable results through investigating, evaluating, reserving, reporting, recommending, negotiating, managing litigation and subrogation.
Required Competencies:
- A Bachelor's degree
- 10 years minimum relevant work experience are required
- Good work ethic, ability to work independently, strong evaluation and analysis skills, and proficient writing skills are necessary
- Knowledge of GL and Auto coverage, claim management protocol, and the litigation process are also needed
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent skills in investigating, evaluating, communicating, computer use and time management are necessary
- Ability to work independently and effectively with clients, brokers, attorneys and other departments is required
- Relevant experience and knowledge of business of claims adjusting and basic coverages are necessary
