Claims Adjuster - Property (Connecticut)

CIRMA, the largest municipal insurer and risk management expert in the state of CT has an exciting opportunity in our Claims Department for a Property Claims Adjuster. 

Responsibilities include: providing prompt and thorough investigation of moderate to complex property claims, make a timely and reasonable determination of damages and exposure; write and/or review damage appraisals, and document the material facts with respect to each claim assigned consistent with proper claim handling procedures.

Experience with Liability and Auto claims is a positive attribute, as well as Commercial line exposure.

The ideal candidate must possess

• Valid Connecticut adjusters’ license,
• 5 or more years of Property Claims experience 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
• A college degree  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus.
