Our Irvine, California office is searching for a dynamic client facing, Manager, HR & Payroll Services to join our growing team of experts to service the LA/Orange County areas. Works under Program Management Team Leader in conjunction with other team members to service clients.
Responsibilities Include:

- Provides advice and make recommendations to Clients and collaborates with senior/executive leadership to meet the needs of business.
- Coach/consult with client organization management on employee relations issues, policies, performance management, terminations, RIFs, harassment/discrimination, etc.
- Time and attendance management
- HRIS system change management
- Payroll preview review
- Paid Time Off accruals (PTO, Vac, Sick)
- Ad-Hoc reporting
- System conversions /integrations
- Assist with monthly /quarterly HR meetings (creates agenda, completes minutes, prepares ad-hoc reports)
- Recruitment assistance
- Onboarding/off boarding (offer letters, background screening, assessment tests)
- Benefit administration (open enrollment management, qualifying events, etc.)
- Consolidated benefit reconciliation
- 401(k) administration (post payroll transmissions, discrimination testing)
- Workers’ comp claims administration
- OSHA Log management
- EEO-1 reporting
- SUI / SDI claim management
- Job description creation
- Regulatory / internal audits
- Personnel file / I-9 maintenance
- Leaves of Absence (LOAs)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PHR, SHRM-CP required
- CPP, FPC certification preferred
- 4-6 years Human Resources experience dealing with a broad range of HR related areas.
- 3-5 years of recent payroll processing start to finish experience required
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of HR & Payroll state and federal regulations
