Our Newest Opportunity: 

The primary purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst is to prepare financial related analyses and research for company operations including duties related to budgeting/forecasting, M&A due diligence, organic growth calculations, month-end close, new business and other ad hoc analysis for corporate operations.

 

 

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Understand the business processes with the ability to translate the data into analytical reporting and compelling presentations for  executive stakeholders
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in the healthcare data sets
  • Summarize information and effectively communicate analysis in writing and verbally to internal and external customers
  • Prepare and present reports to internal and external customers
  • Provide adhoc reporting as needed
  • Develop charts, graphs, dashboards  and basic reports in a consultative format
  • Act as an organizational data quality steward
  • Ensure data from external resources is accurate
  • Assist sales and retention team with carrier negotiations
  • Works with sales and retention teams to review client utilization reports, and identify opportunities for plan design and product changes based upon utilization patterns
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with carrier partners
  • Assist team and clients as needed
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by management
  • Provide new solutions to manage client data
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting for clients
  • Updates internal CRM system

 

 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Math, Accounting, Risk Management/Underwriting or other related field, preferred;
  • Experience in the healthcare industry working for a group insurance carrier, broker or consultant, strongly preferred;
  • Knowledge of group insurance including medical, dental, CDHP, pharmacy, life and disability products, strongly preferred;
  • Experience in Underwriting or Healthcare Analytics/reporting preferred
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, required;
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, preferred;
  • Experience with database applications, a plus.
