Administrative Assistant - Home Office Underwriting

Provides administrative support to the Chief Underwriting Officer, Home Office Underwriting Managers and staff. 

Assist in developing and monitoring the reporting from the RUE’s to ensure accurate and timely reporting.                                                                                                                         

Coordinate the top account referral process including the coordination of account                          

meetings with internal attendees including Senior Management, Zone Underwriters

and members of Risk Control and Claims.  Coordinate conference calls and meeting rooms as necessary.             

Create, maintain and update miscellaneous logs including referrals, new business, large claim, high loss ratio accounts to ensure accurate recordkeeping and status.

Provide administrative assistance to the Home Office Underwriting Managers relative to the timely management and monitoring of referrals, underwriting audits and the setting of underwriting policy and procedure.

Assists Product Development staff in gathering information and data, completing                           

necessary filing paper work and monitoring timely responses.

Assist in data collection and input of Reinsurance data into Excel spreadsheet.                  

Assist department managers in preparing and managing budget

Process checks requests and expense accounts for management team

Develop spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations as required
