Underwriting Assistant

General Placement Service is currently working with a leading insurer in the Construction Niche.  They are seeking an underwriting assistant to join their team in their Downtown Pittsburgh office complex to assist their underwriting team in the processing of small, medium, and large size construction accounts. 

This role does not require prior underwriting experience.  They are looking for someone who has superior customer service skills, a drive to succeed, a stable work history, and willingness to apply themselves to the task of learning the insurance underwriting job functions.   Insurance experience is preferred but also, not required.
