Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of what drives insurance (especially workers comp) profitability, as well as how our business operates Support the needs of our business development and underwriting teams, consistently delivering our Ridiculously Fast. Amazingly Easy. brand promise
  • Develop strong relationships within our appointed agencies, delivering solutions that are mutually-beneficial Actively and strategically pursue & retain profitable business opportunities
  • Quickly assess problems or issues, then identify, execute and communicate solutions
  • Work across all functional areas of company to drive profitable results and demonstrate a balanced view when evaluating production and profit opportunities
  • Use various components of company data to formulate effective decisions, drive priorities and influence/evaluate desired results
  • Communicate clearly, proactively and professionally with all stakeholders, both external and internal Assist with agency planning, budgeting and goal setting
  • Take an active and participative role in the planning and handling of agency visits
  • Learn our online tools/applications and be able to clearly communicate competitive advantages and train new users
  • Consistently identify opportunities to improve our customer experience and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business or sales-related field
  • Proven relationship management and communication skills High degree of self-motivation, discipline, productivity and professionalism
  • Sound analytical, problem solving, decision-making and critical-thinking skills with an outcome-based focus Ability to work effectively across an organization, understanding customer needs and finding mutually-beneficial solutions
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of time, work in Manassas, VA headquarters or remote from Phoenix, AZ area

Strongly Preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance or a related field
  • Strong, working knowledge and/or efforts being made to build Worker's Compensation technical expertise
  • Completion of CPCU or similar and/or progress towards a professional insurance designation
