Sales Producer - Commercial Lines

Responsibilities:

• New Business & Renewal Quoting (Businessowners, Commercial Property, General Liability, Workers Comp, Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, EPL, D&O, Umbrella, etc.)
• Processing Endorsements (basic & complex policy changes).
• Following up with prospective clients on quotes provided.
• Issue binders and policies.
• Work with insurance carrier partners on shared initiatives.
• Cross-Sell existing clients
• Process payments & handle billing requests.
• Process information, filling and keeping/updating records of all transactions
• Schedule appointments and phone consultations with existing or prospective customers
• Perform administrative and managerial functions as the Office Manager including but not limited to: organization, distribution and supervision of workflow and workload; conduct performance evaluation review and report to Corporate Management; assist other staff members with daily operation inquiries and matters that may arise and/or provide limited training.

Pre-requisites:

• P&C Insurance License Required. 2-20 General Lines Agent (Required)
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in an independent insurance agency dealing with Commercial Lines (Personal Lines background is a plus).
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow instruction, but also take the in initiative as required
• Must be well organized and possess attention to detail.
• Must be proficient with Computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, SharePoint, Planner, etc)
• Experience with QQ Catalyst and/or Applied - EPIC
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS
