Job Description

Summary:  The Product Analyst is an excellent entry level position into the business side of insurance.  The position supports the development of the company’s product features, pricing and competitive position.  The Product Analyst operationalizes new rating plans, underwriting guidelines, process improvements, and other initiatives to support profitable growth and improve competitive position.  The position will also assist commercial underwriting in preparing high level commercial risks for review.

Your Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Establishes familiarity with Centauri and competitive operational procedures, benchmarks Centauri performance and targets and executes on plans for improved performance
2. Prepares filing manuals and exhibits.
3. Coordinate development and execution of test plans and defect tracking
4. Build a network of relationships throughout the Centauri organization
5. Responds to questions by other departments related to rates, product features and underwriting guidelines.
6. Rate and prepare new and renewal quotes as directed by Underwriter
7. Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
8. Potential for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including audits

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferably in analytical field such as math, statistics, economics, actuarial, or other highly analytical focus
• Basic proficiency in Excel.  Knowledge of other Microsoft programs a plus.
