ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review, verify and analyze insurance data.
• Assist in the development and implementation of sound rates and/or rating plans.
• Assist in the development and pricing of new products.
• Assist in preparing regulatory filings.
• Effectively gather and compile data. Evaluate data to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies. Complete analysis of data and summarize results.
• Develop reports needed by senior management and other business units to monitor progress in improving profitability and implementation of business.
• Provide technical support to other business units.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related area with an excellent academic record
• 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
• Strong analytical skills and proven track record of creative problem solving
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience working with Excel, Access and SQL
• Prior experience in predictive modeling, preferably using Emblem
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a rapidly changing environment
