CIRMA, the largest municipal insurer and risk management expert in the state of CT has an exciting opportunity in our Claims Department for a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing prompt and courteous service to the CIRMA-member employer and the injured employee by analyzing claims
- Determining compensability
- Setting the reserves and managing all claims to closure in the most efficient and effective manner.
The ideal candidate must possess a valid adjusters’ license, 5 or more years of Workers’ Compensation experience, excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills.
A college degree and knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus.
