AVP Workers' Compensation Claims

Our client, a well- respected property/casualty specialty insurance provider, has a challenging opportunity for an AVP Workers' Compensation Claims for the Western Region.

This positon with be responsible for providing technical leadership and Supervision of Workers' Compensation claim staff (both in-house and remote)  to ensure best in class service and claim handling. Two direct reports and 14 indirect.

The ideal candidate:
⦁        Bachelor’s Degree
⦁        Insurance designation (s) preferred
⦁        10+ years of WC claims experience at an insurance carrier
⦁        5+ years of successful claims management experience
⦁        Experience in multiple jurisdictions is strongly preferred
⦁        Proficiency in CA Workers' Compensation law is required
⦁        Effective leadership, , staff development and performance management   skills              
⦁        Strong client focus
⦁        Polished verbal and written communication skills.
⦁        Proficient in use of Windows and MS Office Suite programs
