Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications or Public Relations, or equivalent work experience in account management or association relationships;
Or a minimum of eighteen (18) months experience as a State Fund or Self Insured Claims Examiner, Rates Analyst or Account Executive with a TPA or MCO.
Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Customer service orientation with strong communication skills; Ability to speak confidently to various size groups of employers.
Proven ability to work independently while supporting company goals.
Ability to travel in state; must maintain a valid drivers license, reliable transportation and auto insurance coverage at state minimum
Above average computer skills with demonstrated experience with all Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Develop and maintain relationships and strategies with employer-customers to ensure account retention of large accounts as assigned.
Reach new employer-customer sale objectives.
Assess clients current Workers Compensation program to develop cost containment strategies and determine need for various discount services offered by the BWC, provide recommendations and resolution in managing these issues.
Promote and articulate value of company products and service.
Customize and analyze data for client specific needs.
Coordinate and implement educational efforts for employers-customers by developing and presenting written materials, news articles, newsletters and seminars.
Create marketing and training presentations for client seminars and meetings.
Meet established productivity and quality benchmarks; and demonstrate a consultative relationship with the client.
