Underwriter - Commercial Field - Abilene, Lubbock, or Odessa, Texas

Acuity is seeking a Commercial Field Underwriter to quote and issue new commercial accounts for a selected group of committed agents.  Responsibilities include enthusiastically selling Acuity commercial products and ensuring strong growth of profitable business in a territory including Abilene, Lubbock, and Odessa, Texas and the surrounding areas.

Job Requirements: 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning or equivalent experience.  CPCU, CIC or similar insurance designations preferred. 

Experience: 

Minimum of five years of commercial underwriting experience.
