Peoples First Insurance is seeking a full-time experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team.  The Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager is dedicated to providing caring and expert service for select clients representing some of the largest and most complex accounts in the agency.

  • Uses expertise to find solutions to complex client needs
  • Work with producer to secure necessary underwriting information
  • Evaluate risk and analyze critical information
  • Coordinate the rating / pricing of each account, working with the Marketing Director
  • Prepare quality submissions to carriers on behalf of client or prospect
  • Track underwriting submissions
  • Review and analyze quotations received from carriers; confirm policy issuance details are accurate
  • Prepare professional and accurate proposals and summaries for presentation to clients
  • Review endorsements for accuracy
  • Review newly issued policies for accuracy before delivery to clients
  • Review daily correspondence, report, endorsements, loss control reports and inspections
  • Process premium audits and assist client in event of a dispute
  • Process claim reporting on an as needed basis
  • Perform contract review with respect to insurance requirements
  • Prepare and deliver timely binders and invoices upon binding of coverage
  • Collaborate in a professional manner with all clients, carriers, producers and peers
  • Maintain current knowledge of underwriting requirements and authority outlined by each carrier

Required Experience:

  • Ideal candidates will have ten or more years of agency experience in commercial lines insurance, with the last five years working with large, complex accounts
  • Active 2-20 License preferred
  • Able to make independent decisions, take initiative, and proceed with limited direction 
  • Must be highly proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to develop an Excel spreadsheet and utilize it in performing the job, such as premium allocations. The ability and desire to develop these skills is a must
  • Demonstrated continuing insurance education, advanced education preferred
  • Familiar with rating and underwriting guidelines
  • Experience with Applied TAM or similar related software
