SUMMARY       This role requires the individual to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.   This role requires strong computer skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal abilities and project coordination experience. Successful candidates provide high level administrative support and have the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors.

CORE DUTIES

  • Performing Office and administrative duties to assist executive management
  • Manage calendars, making travel, meeting and event arrangements
  • Preparing Reports and Financial Data
  • Liaison with shared services including Human Resources, Operations and IT
  • Customer Relations as required

Other Duties

  • Under the direction from the underwriting unit:
    • Prepare cat modeling request work orders including review of data spreadsheets for acceptable data quality
    • Follow-up with the broker for additional / missing information
    • Prepare draft account summaries, quotations and binders
  • Create and maintain monthly underwriting reports as directed
  • Support development of new underwriting products

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Power Point and meeting presentations
  • Strong computer skills (including EXCEL, Word and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Candidate must be able to work within a team environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or 5+ years related experience
