We are a Workers Compensation company seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Representative where you will manage Workers Compensation claims in the assigned states according to the company policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include:

Job Summary

  • Adjust claims according to state specific statute and regulations
  • Communicate appropriate information to all stakeholders
  • Manage all litigation and settlements on assigned claims
  • Manage customer and Agent relationships
  • Manage reporting to all insurance/reinsurance partners
  • Ensure and maintain appropriate licenses or certifications for all states in which claims are being handled

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Two or more years work experience in claims management
  • Ability to effectively operate a computer, knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based upon detailed analysis of complex issues
  • Ability to manage and operate independently and effectively
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to service for both external and internal customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive approach
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Solid adjustment and negotiation skill set, coupled with a thorough knowledge of Product Standards and state laws and regulations
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
