We are a Workers Compensation company seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Representative where you will manage Workers Compensation claims in the assigned states according to the company policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include:
Job Summary
- Adjust claims according to state specific statute and regulations
- Communicate appropriate information to all stakeholders
- Manage all litigation and settlements on assigned claims
- Manage customer and Agent relationships
- Manage reporting to all insurance/reinsurance partners
- Ensure and maintain appropriate licenses or certifications for all states in which claims are being handled
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- Two or more years work experience in claims management
- Ability to effectively operate a computer, knowledge of MS Office applications
- Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based upon detailed analysis of complex issues
- Ability to manage and operate independently and effectively
- Demonstrated proactive approach to service for both external and internal customers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive approach
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Solid adjustment and negotiation skill set, coupled with a thorough knowledge of Product Standards and state laws and regulations
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
