Senior Claims Examiner / Manager

This Third Party Administrator (TPA) processes claims and performs other administrative services for self-insured clients in accordance with a service contract. This is a small environment with an opportunity to make a real impact. The role of the Senior Claims Examiner/Manager is to investigate, evaluate and adjust Cargo and Truck Liability claims. Responsibilities to include:

• Supervise other claims staff.
• Handle more complex, litigated claims.
• Determine extent of the client’s financial exposure with respect to claims; set case reserves.
• Select and manage defense and coverage counsel.

• 5 or more years of experience with commercial auto or handing Cargo and Truck Liability claims.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
• Multi-tasker who is detail oriented.
• Demonstrated track record of understanding the importance of communication during the claims handling process.
