Merchants Insurance Group is searching for an experienced NY Workers Compensation Claim Adjuster II to join its Corporate Claims Team. Merchants is a highly rated regional property-casualty insurance company headquartered in Buffalo, NY.
The Workers Compensation Claim Adjuster II is responsible for effectively handling NY Workers Compensation claims and is responsible for the timely investigation, evaluation and equitable settlement of all assigned claims and operates within all Company guidelines and procedures. This position interacts with the Supervisor/Manager and team members.
Qualified candidates will possess 3 plus years’ experience handling NY Workers Compensation claims. Candidates will possess a 4 year degree or equivalent job experience. Professional designations or working towards industry specific designations are a plus. Exceptional organization, communication and negotiation skills are required. EOE
