Data Science and Analytics Director

Oversees research of new and innovative analytic tools and techniques. Monitors industry trends in analytics and investigates new concepts, ideas, and data sources.

Requirements: We are looking for a combination of someone who has led people, is strong technically, been exposed to different technologies (Machine Learning, Big Data, Hadoop, etc.) and has true data science (advanced predictive analytics and modeling).

• Demonstrated communication skills, presence, polish, and awareness are what a Director would need.
• Real deep in data science, techniques and technical expertise should be apparent.
• We will be looking for text and sentiment analysis or random effects for advanced econometrics rather than general statements about analytics.
• MS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering Actuarial Science or related field or equivalent designation, such as Fellowship of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
• Deep data science and leadership experience, with the ability to lead strategy, architecture, development and integration of advanced analytics, driving business impact across the organization.
