Middle Market Underwriter
Regional Insurance Carrier is currently looking to add a Senior Middle Market Underwriter to their staff in the Northeast Suburbs of Atlanta. The organization has a strong history of promoting their employees internally, so there is definite career advancement for the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Review, approve and/or reject applications concerning some of the more complex and diversified risks
- Assist and consult with the Underwriting Manager in the office
- Support and assist marketing representatives, agents and producers
- Visit agents in their office on occasion, particularly when working on more complex risks.
- Daily interaction with agents via phone and email.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience
- 1-2 years of experience underwriting more complex commercial lines coverages
- Multi-line underwriting experience is preferred
