Claims Adjuster - Multi-Line Casualty

Merchants Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Multi-Line Casualty Adjuster to join our Claims team in our Buffalo, NY location.

This individual is expected to effectively handle Auto Liability and General Liability claims and is responsible for the timely investigation, evaluation and equitable resolution of all assigned claims and operates within all Company guidelines and procedures. This position interacts with the Supervisor/Manager and team members. Further, the adjuster is responsible for providing quality customer service through the equitable disposition of all assigned claims.

Qualified candidates will have 2 plus years experience handling Auto Liability or General Liability claims.  Candidates will possess a 4 year degree or equivalent job experience.   Professional designations or working towards industry specific designations are a plus.  Exceptional organization, communication and negotiation skills are required.   Must obtain any required State licensing within 6 months of hire.
