We are currently seeking an Underwriter to grow and build Acadia's small commercial book of business in Connecticut. As an Underwriter, your responsibilities will include executing Acadia's underwriting strategies while developing long term and profitable agency relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to build agency relationships, grow a book of business, have commercial underwriting experience, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and thrive in a team environment. He or she will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to form strong relationships to collaborate with a team of highly skilled underwriting professionals in a fast paced environment.  A valid driver's license, a bachelor's degree and at least five years of underwriting experience with a focus in small commercial business are required.  Travel within the state of CT is required.
