Casualty Claim Director

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our casualty claim unit and ensuring claims are handled in accordance with established performance standards. As a member of the management team, the Director of Claims will provide strategic direction and proactively participate with the profit center's leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans and business objectives. In addition, you will have the satisfaction of building relationships with agents and insureds.   Responsibilities include the hiring and training of staff, the proper resolution of claims, control of paid losses and expenses, and for meeting other company and departmental goals.  This position requires some travel.

 Our ideal candidate will be flexible, have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a team environment. Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, strong PC skills with experience in Microsoft Windows and Office applications and analytical ability are required.  A bachelor's degree and seven years of commercial casualty claim experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.  A strong preference will be given to candidates with prior supervisory experience.  A valid adjuster's license is required.  If you possess these skills and are a self-motivated, hard-working individual who is interested in a company that believes in its employees, please apply.
