Our client, a well- respected property/casualty specialty insurance provider, has an opening for technically experienced Sr. Construction Defect Claims Adjuster. The position can be located in various offices: Alpharetta, GA, San Francisco, CA, Costa Mesa, CA, Denver, CO, Richmond, VA, or N. Las Vegas, NV.
This product position will be responsible for adjusting highly complex Construction Defect claims with a high level of authority and minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7+ years prior construction defect claims handling experience including heavy technical knowledge, litigation, writing coverage position letters, setting reserves.
- Strong negotiation and litigation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite programs
- Polished verbal and written communication skills
