Aon Is Looking For A Insurance Operations Strategy Analyst.

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our National Flood Services business group within Aon Affinity in Overland Park, KS

As a Insurance Operations Strategy Analyst you will report directly to our Claims Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Claims business intelligence and reporting vision and roadmap that is consistent with overall Aon, NFS and Claims organization vision and objectives
  • Working with IT and NFS Operations, develop BI and reporting platform – standardized / automated and ad hoc reports
  • Develop and manage claims reports and analytics across constituencies. Sr executives, claims executives and management, claims associates, clients, other external constituencies – independent adjusting firms, law firms, etc. 
  • Across reporting purposes – Claims operations, financials, customer satisfaction, CAT, polling data, performance management
  • Conduct analytics and identify trends (financial, operational, customer, geographic, overall market, etc)

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business intelligence and data analytics – designing and building business intelligence roadmap, platform(s) and reports (executive & management level, associates, clients, external partners)
  • Expertise using BI and reporting tools – e.g., MicroStrategy, Tableau, Cognos, SAP Crystal Reports, SSRS
  • Strong analytical and problems solving skills – analyze, interpret and identify trends across large data sets
  • Excellent communication skills – visually and verbally communicate data and implications to Claims Management
  • High proficiency with MS Office with expertise in Excel and Access
  • Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence / data analytics, economics, accounting, statistics, information science, or other applicable analytical field(s) required
  • Master’s degree in applicable field (e.g., MBA) a plus
