Financial Analyst

Strong, stable and growing FL based Insurance carrier is looking for a Lead Financial Analyst  to work in their home office in the Sarasota FL area.  Relocation assistance provided for the right candidate.
 
This position will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis including monthly and quarterly management reporting and analysis, periodic reforecasts and annual planning by creating actionable and timely information regarding business unit financial performance, operational analysis on current business trends, and market and product level analytics.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of financial planning & analysis experience with a property & casualty insurer
  • Knowledge of GAAP and statutory accounting principles  
  • Ability to solve complex issues
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.  CPA preferred 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required including experience with working with large amounts of data and pivot tables. Other MS Office applications (Access) a plus
