A national Insurance Carrier that offers various financial products is seeking an Underwriting Manager in their Group Disability department. In this role, you would oversee a staff of 3 or 4 underwriters and have oversight on the department. The team oversees the underwriting function for accounts sized 2,000 lives and up - focused on the group disability product.
You will review, determine rates and quote new and renewal policies within company guidelines.
To be qualified, you should have 10+ years of group insurance underwriting experience - with a focus on ancillary products (specifically disability insurance).
Management and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
Bachelor's degree is required.
