Responsible for partnering with field and home office management to create and coordinate effective growth strategies with national, regional, and local brokerage firms to further PMA's distribution strategies and create opportunity for PMA to expand geographically across the country.

Responsibilities

Distribution Management

  • Work with SVP- Distribution and Segment Leadership to ensure overall distribution plan facilitates growth objectives
  • Evaluate and analyze plans at the Regional Level (PMA regions and Distribution regions)
  • Provide regular feedback and help adjust plans for market conditions

Relationship Management

  • Establish/Maintain key corporate and regional relationships with key broker partners
  • Manage key responsibilities and action items via the multi-tier engagement plans; maintain accountability for this throughout the field as well as home office
  • Create a plan for out of territory broker relationships
  • Work with executives and national brokers to raise PMA's profile. Identify specific actions and mutual accountabilities

Data and Analytics

  • Lead PMA's efforts to better utilize data and analytics in our distribution efforts
  • Engage Data and Analytics experts at brokerage firms (CIOs, Business Intelligence staff, etc) to optimize data exchange and extraction and assist with geographic expansion and book of business penetration
  • Attend industry functions such as the InsureTech conference

Agency Operations

  • Provide critical QA oversight to the Agency Management System in conjunction with segment and branch leadership. Areas of focus include inventory of account and agency plans
  • Assist in the oversight of the Agency Appointment Process
    • Contracts
    • Contingencies
    • State Appointments
  • Resolve BOR disputes
  • Various compliance responsibilities
