As an Account Manager in our Property & Casualty Division, you'll play an integral role in our relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and industry partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Producers and Account Executives to build risk management programs for our clients
- Manage assigned accounts including 120-day pre-renewal meeting
- Develop account marketing strategies with Producers and Account Executives
- Collect underwriting information and create submissions
- Analyze and negotiate complex coverage, premiums, and terms and conditions
- Prepare proposals for Producers'/Account Executives' delivery to clients
- Manage policy changes
- Document account activities in AMS360 and according to company protocols
- Provide timely client service, including policy and coverage questions
- Quality control of our policy check-in process; ensure accurate and timely delivery of policies to client
- Keep informed of industry developments and attend industry functions. Share knowledge gained with team members
- Continuing education and professional designation acquisition
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- ARM or CIC preferred
- Current Illinois Property & Casualty Broker's License required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance arena
- Valid Driver's License required
- Strong knowledge of risk managment concepts and techniques
- Excellent business sense, problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship-building skills with clients and team members
- Proven track record of high productivity and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of managing and servicing large and/or complex accounts, tasks, and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint plus experience working with AMS360 or comparable Agency Management System
