Customer Services Representative / Account Manager

A Rockville insurance trust is expanding and we have two terrific positions available for an Insurance Services Representative. This is an immediate professional opportunity to work at a stable company with consistent income. You’ll join our inbound customer service center and speak with our insureds to address membership and policy inquiries on group insurance and professional liability policies, handle basic underwriting ratings tasks. 

You know property and casualty insurance - and we'll train you with our professional liability products and services to ensure your continued success. The position is in a collegial environment with duties that include handling up to 50 inbound calls per day, responding to emails, process data entry of applications and basic exception and underwriting tasks.  This is a full time permanent position, Monday-Friday with shift hours of 9:30 am - 6:00 pm (following training period). 

Requirements for the customer service representative

• A current Property and Casualty license
• 2 years of customer service experience in an insurance environment
• Basic understanding of insurance underwriting principles
• Be a detail-oriented team player 
• Demonstrable keyboard proficiency
• High energy, customer oriented individual with ability to proficiently multitask and prioritize
