About the Commercial Insurance Sales Role: A production opportunity with an independent, full service agency, you will lead the sales activity in northeast Ohio which has huge potential because of untapped partnerships and referral sources. The agency has business ties in Lorain, Cuyahoga and Medina counties through its shared ownership in other local companies.

Successful producers have joined the agency with a couple different types of backgrounds:

• Direct writer or captive insurance agency sales experience.  Able to develop small commercial, BOP business that’s generalist in nature.  Interested in a move to the independent agency world.
• Independent agency sales experience (approximately 2-5 years of experience). Strong skills in prospecting and originating new business. Lack competitive market access or strong service resources. 

This position offers a competitive base salary and a new business commission validation plan.  You’ll receive ongoing sales training and mentorship from the Vice President of Commercial Lines Sales and Marketing.
