Account Manager - Agency - Personal Lines

About the Organization: This insurance agency, headquartered in Salt Lake City, was formed by two successful industry executives who saw a gap in the way individuals could access personal lines insurance.  They developed a proprietary technology platform that will officially launch this fall.  With the help of product developers and key insurance company relationships, the agency is preparing to write nationwide using new forms of communication, technology and rating to attract clients.

Your Role as Personal Lines Account Manager
You are the first customer facing hire for the agency and a critical component to the launch and managing the portfolio of clients.  Your personal lines industry knowledge and experience in customer service is a huge part of the sales, onboarding and retention process.  You can expect to be involved with:

• Communicating with insureds via the company’s online chat platform.  Engage with them on starting the process- gathering information, answering questions and discussing quotes.
• Use comparative rating software to obtain personal insurance quotes.
• Provide important feedback to product developers on the functionality of the technology.  Show them areas for improvement and enjoy less data entry over time!
• Handle in-force policy changes; change management like endorsements, certificates, billing questions.
• Build relationships with clients, underwriters and referral partners.

Required Qualifications

• Personal lines insurance experience in a customer service, CSR or Account Manager role.
• Active state insurance license
