American Claims Management, Inc. is seeking an adjuster to handle PIP claims in accordance with Department of Insurance regulations and company procedures as set forth in the Company procedure manual. Investigates and resolves policy coverage. The successful candidate will manage vendor expectations, review and properly adjusts property estimates.

 

Responsibilities:

  • PIP adjusters must be able to independently:
  • Investigate and resolve policy coverage- including ability to identify material misrepresentations and red flags and obtain follow up documentation as needed for coverage investigations.
  • Investigate, negotiate and settled PIP claims.
  • Communicate with external and internal customers via telephone and written correspondence.
  • Respond to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner to ensure efficient claim handling.
  •  Review and understand BI demands and how to evaluate same.
  • Handle litigated files effectively and in a time sensitive manner.
  • Write thorough, concise reports on large loss exposures.
  • Pursue subrogation and deductibles.



Required Competencies:

  • Prefer 2-4 years previous PD, CN & BI adjuster experience to keep up with heavy claims volume
