IT Financial Analyst 2 Job Summary

Salary Range: 60,112 - 69,128 - 78,145

As a member of the IT Financial and Portfolio Management team, the IT Financial Analyst 2 supports the IT Financial and Portfolio Management team through gathering data, executing and optimizing processes, validating accuracy, and producing reports, often without direct supervision. Facilitates the budget creation process within Information Technology and serves as a liaison to Corporate Financial Management. Acts as an asset owner for key financial reporting deliverables.

Essential Functions (primary functions and/or reasons the job exists in order of importance)
1. Collects data for IT expense reporting and other key metrics, including employee information, training, headcount, showback information, and department budgets.
2. Facilitates the budget creation process within Information Technology. Assists IT leaders in developing budgets, ensures accuracy, and creates and distributes status reports.
3. Facilitates and optimizes the process to collect, analyze, and report data for IT benchmark exercises.
4. Supports the process to collect , analyze, and report financial data for IT departments, projects, and programs.
5. Owns or assists in ownership of other key data collection processes and reporting, including but not limited to monthly financial forecast, software expense and depreciation, vendor reports, and salary levels.

Desired Qualifications/Experience/Certification/Education (in order of importance)
1. 4+ years of financial analysis and/or reporting experience.
2. 4+ years’ experience with MS Word and MS Excel, including leveraging functions and the ability to build charts.
3. 2+ years of experience with MS Access, including the ability to create databases and extract data.
4. Experience using MS PowerPoint to create effective presentations.
5. Experience working independently and providing several deliverables simultaneously.
6. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills gained v ia previous work experiences.
7. Strong problem solving and process improvement skills.
8. Strong financial acumen gained through previous work assignments.
9. Experience being articulate and precise.
10. Strong time management skills, including the ability to meet delivery schedules.
11. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Statistics, or related field OR commensurate experience.
12. Valid driver’s license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.

* Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing and working on a computer for extended periods of ti me).
* Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail, etc.
* Ability to travel as required.
