Claims Representative

Claims Representative 　

Celina Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Representative to join our team of claims professionals. This individual will primarily handle automobile material damage claims, but could be assigned other types of claims depending on department needs, and individual skill and ability. This individual will provide the highest level of customer service to our policyholders, third party claimants and internal customers. This position could be based out of the Celina Insurance Group home office in Celina, Ohio, or could be a home-based position for the right candidate.　

Essential Functions:　

· Conduct thorough investigations, evaluating coverage, liability, and damages, ultimately leading to confident decision making and claim resolution.　

· Claims will represent personal lines, commercial and farm lines of business.　

· Negotiate in good faith and settle the loss for the appropriate amount based upon the policy contract. 　

· Submit timely, detailed reports in our claims systems that properly document action steps taken and conclusions reached.　

The selected Claims Representative will possess:　

· Proficiency with computers and current technology.　

· Understand and commit to high level of customer service. 　

· Possess a high level of self-motivation and strong interpersonal skills.　

· Ability to work with minimal supervision. 　

· Problem solving and negotiating skills. 　

Preferred education and experience　

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field　

· Minimum of 3 years claims experience　

· Continuing education in insurance designations is a plus
