Account Coordinator (P&C)

The right person will assist Client Managers and Client Executives with any client questions, proposals, marketing, rate negotiation, sales and service support including claims resolution. We have openings in our Property & Casualty department at our Deer Park, IL office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides technical support to Client Executive (CE) and/or Client Manager (CM) such as analyzing quotes and coverage forms, with direction from the CE/CM.
• Gathers underwriting date for new and renewal business – includes generating insurance exposure checklists and sending them to clients. Requests loss runs from companies and assisting client in completing insurance applications independently or in conjunction with CE/CM.
• 70% online reating through the carrier websites and 30% ACORD application/submission.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Must have a BA/BS degree or at least 5 years of Insurance experience
• Adept at on-line rating and booking and insurance systems to provide accurate and timely responses to clients, potential clients and carriers
• Working knowledge of insurance products and usage
• Intermediate knowledge of computer and word processing programs such as Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing to others
• Expected to maximize efficiencies using good organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in requested timeframes.
• Property and Casualty Agents license – Illinois.
