Insurance Support CoordinatorYour Dream Job - The DetailsThe Insurance Support Coordinator (ISC) is the entry point of our agency, providing centralized administrative and reception support to Assurance.

Through a rigorous professional development experience, the ISC learns the concepts of insurance, how to work in an office environment and handle various projects that ease the work burden for other members of Assurance.

He or she serves as the director of first impressions to our clients, prospects, potential new hires, carriers and otherbusiness partners of Assurance.

As such, the ISC ensures professional, helpful, friendly and courteous interactions, whether on phone or face to face.

EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICESupports our production and service teams with projects to allow flawless execution of our service strategy as submitted through the job board Prepares Client Resource Guides to ensure that all clients have appropriate claims reporting information available Prioritizes workload to ensure client needs are addressed and agency expectations are met Assists with completion of client mailings, presentations, spreadsheets and other administrative projects Researches company information in Epic and online to complete prospective client data in Client Resource Management system Enters data into Epic for new and current accounts Confirms seminar registration, prepares name badges and supports marketing team with onsite support for seminar events Provides trade show support to marketing and production teams Prints and distributes marketing communication and collateral for internal and external use Completes special team projects as assigned Communicate to internal and external clients through phone and e-mail in a professional manner RECEPTION EXPERIENCEActs as director of first impressions to our clients, prospective clients, prospective employees and visitors and creates a warm, friendly and inviting experience Answers and manages phone calls professionally and swiftly and provides a phone experience that promotes our DNA Completes administrative tasks for employees as requested PEER RELATIONSHIPS AND SELF-DEVELOPMENTObtains Producers license and participates in insurance courses, seminars, classes, and webinars for skill and knowledge development Suggests business process improvements to gain efficiency within the role Strives for successful and effective working relationships with Producers, service team, management, carriers, and agency departments Provides feedback at team meetings as well as contributes to learning topics as assigned Strives to learn and grow by demonstrating initiative on a daily basis Acts as a valued member of the team, including assisting in training and mentorship of newly hired ISCs Assists the Office and Facilities team when applicable PREFERRED:BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field Intermediate or advanced skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Assurance - In a NutshellFounded:1961Status:Fiercely independent insurance brokerageLocations:Headquartered in Schaumburg, IL with office locations in Chicago and St.
