Insight’s Relationship Manager is responsible cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients and will serve as the primary point of contact. He/she will be responsible for anticipating customer expectations for successful program execution and integration. In addition to representing the clients internally, he/she will provide first-level response or triage of issues and acting as the liaison with external and internal stakeholders.
The Relationship Manager will be an integral part of the Corporate Operations group. Corporate Operations is responsible for supporting business development initiatives, assisting with the analysis and development of organizational reporting, creating budgeting and revenue models, financial statement research and analysis, reinsurance structuring and other special purpose transactions requiring dynamic
Responsibilities
- Manage client issues and project requests
- Collect business requirements, define scope and create project plans
- Manage projects, facilitate cooperation and coordinate between all stakeholders
- Provide standardized, accurate and timely reporting of project status and expected deliverables
- Prioritize and escalate customer and quality issues to ensure rapid resolution
- Maintain proactive, prompt communication and deliver excellent service to clients
- Host status calls on an adhoc or contractual basis
- Communicate status updates with all stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings and check-ins with team to ensure deadlines remain attainable
- Manage reporting across all groups in the organization
- Provide Senior Management with quantitative reporting on hours spent vs. hours budgeted, ticket backlog, up-time / downtime
- Provide monthly reporting analysis to aide management in decision making and resource allocation
- Communicate project updates, major issues, future projects, “up-selling” opportunities, contract updates, projected revenues and reporting deliverables
- Ability to use and troubleshoot Insight’s proprietary Software Platform
- Manage existing client contract renewals and coordinate with new client contract creation
- Enhance current processes to improve client relationships and internal efficiency Oversee implementation of tools and systems to provide timely, accurate and useful sales & marketing information and capabilities.
- Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into success of various SMT activities and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions and minimize the impact of issues on the other technical teams
- Ability to manage cross functionally while developing strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and attention to details is required
- Maintain confidentiality while conducting themselves in a professional manner.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Strong project management, change management, and team leadership skills
- Strong Jira, Confluence, or similar project management software
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Education and Experience
- Experience within the property and casualty insurance industry
- 2-3 years of project or account management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field
- PMI PMP Certification or Scrum/Agile Certification, strongly preferred
