Account Manager - Personal Lines

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare on-line quotations, complete new business applications and upload to system, reviewing for accuracy
• Maintain account files
• Maintain positive and effective relationships with clients and insurance company staff
• Respond to account inquiries (phone, email, etc.) in a timely fashion
• Maintain renewal controls on expirations and binders
• Check policies/endorsements/audit for accuracy
• Coordinate premium and/or fee collection with Producer and/or accounting and prepare finance agreements  

FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

• High School diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
• 5+ years related experience (insurance agency/brokerage experience - personal lines)
• Currently licensed and in good standing in required lines and states
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• Experience with the following carriers strongly preferred:  Chubb, ACE, AIG, PURE, Nationwide, Safeco and Travelers
•  Demonstrated computer proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
