Distribution Program Specialist Job Summary
Salary Range: $72,047.00-$82,855.00-$93,662.00

The Distribution Program Specialist leads the analysis and supports the administration of the Distribution Management program s. This role is responsible for the following: assistance in the management of programs such as Trilogy and Horizon; assistance in the management of agency benefits and custom compensation; conducting analysis work including report creation and distribution; and governance of RACI matrices. The Distribution Program Specialist provides necessary support to the Distribution Program Leader and other members of the Distribution Management team (e.g., provides insights from programs, serves as internal liaison to other departments). The Distribution Program Specialist works within the department, with the business units, and with agency partners connecting and supporting the operation and executing programs that support our Distribution Strategy.

Essential Functions (primary functions and/or reasons the job exists in order of importance)
1. Leads the analysis and supports the administration of the Distribution Management programs.
2. Assists in managing the operation and execution of various Distribution Programs including, but not limited to the following areas: Trilogy, Horizon, AC management, business planning, agency benefits, Custom Compensation, corporate agency competitions, and coordination of agency communications. This responsibility includes but, is not limited to: reporting, analysis, conducting meetings, building acumen with the business units, budget management, design, communication, rollouts and making upgrades.
3. Responsible for working with the Distribution Management Team in the following areas:
a. Performing analysis work that could include, but it’s not limited to the following areas: Custom Compensation, Service Center Agreements with National Brokers, Segmentation Programs (Trilogy and Horizon), and providing data for areas such as Cost-Benefit Analysis.
b. Overseeing governance for the Distribution team. Ensuring RACI matrices are accurate, are utilized, and provide the most effective governance.
c. Supporting the development and implementation of processes that best connect and sync the analysis and activities of the Distribution Management team with all areas of the organization especially revenue producing business units and the Analytics Resource Center (ARC).
d. Developing and implementing quantity and quality measures for the purposes of tracking, analyzing, and adjusting day-to-day activities to support a more efficient and effective Distribution team.
4. Analyzes data, creates/generates reports, provides process workflows and tools that encourages/influences data driven business strategies and insights.
5. Serves as a liaison to ARC, IT and other support areas. Assists in development, implementation and oversight of activities to support Distribution Management (e.g., agency compensation, agency segmentation) including the setting of objectives with each area, following up on progress, and assisting in the development of necessary resources as needed.
6. Provides project support services and tools for the department. May lead and/or assist with projects, as requested.
7. Travels occasionally in order to participate in special assignments, training, and/or travel between office locations.

Desired Qualifications/Experience/Certification/Education (in order of importance)
1. 3-5 years of Property and Casualty Insurance experience in underwriting, claims, IT, or related field.
2. Proficient business acumen in understanding of agency operations with ability to partner effectively cross-functionally in an enterprise environment.
3. Demonstrated experience working on and/or leading projects including knowledge in project management.
4. Demonstrated excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, establish facts, and recommend solutions.
5. Proven ability to learn quickly, move with agility between assignments, multi-task, and to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Demonstrated financial acumen.
7. Demonstrated strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills resulting in the ability to effectively collaborate across the Distribution Team and organization.
8. Proven ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
9. Ability to be a strategic and tactical thinker.
10. Bachelor’s degree OR commensurate experience.
11. Valid driver’s license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.

* Ability to work effectively in an office environment for 40+ hours per week (including sitting, standing and working on a computer for extended periods of time).
* Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative work environment utilizing various technologies such as: telephone, computer, web, voice, teleconferencing, e-mail, etc.
* Ability to travel as required.
