Claims Adjuster , Senior - Property Outside

MMG Insurance Company is looking for an Senior Outside Property Adjuster.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Identifies different insurance contracts and endorsements and refers to specific policy contracts for interpretation of coverages in claims’ situations.
• Investigates and evaluates higher value more complex first and third-party claims in the field which requires the scheduling and prompt keeping of appointments with insureds, claimants and/or witnesses, and other individuals as needed. Prepares documentation of files, writes damage estimates, and obtains signed and/or recorded statements from insureds, claimants and/or witnesses and other individuals.
• Evaluates property damage by inspecting property to determine the extent of the company’s liability.
• Determine values and sets appropriate reserve.
• Negotiates and settles first and third-party claims with insureds and/or claimants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Solid time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates group presentation skills.
• Results driven and self-motivated.
• Understands the importance of teamwork.
