A leading provider construction consulting services is actively recruiting for a Junior Estimator to work out of their office.  The primary responsibilities for this role include building damage evaluation and commercial construction estimating for property insurance carriers and other companies involved in the claim arena.

Although estimating knowledge and skills are a plus for the position, our client will provide extensive hands on training in building damage evaluation in order to provide deliverables of the highest quality and accuracy to clients. The position includes traveling, field work, and negotiation / presentation skills. The model individual would also have above average computer skills with Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Bluebeam PDF Revu, and Xactimate as well as some knowledge of construction scheduling programs such as Primavera or MS Project. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to conduct meetings and negotiations would be a key to long term success.

The position will involve travel potentially throughout the U.S. and will include the need to perform field inspections of all building components including roofs. A valid driver’s license is a requirement.  This is a full-time, W2 position with benefits.  Apply today!
