Donegal Insurance is seeking a Vice President of Marketing and Advertising, who will provide support and guidance to the company staff as well as the Donegal agents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical analysis of current market trends and new product opportunities
• Maintain active role in the community to ensure the company's exposure and reputation
• Manage the corporate branding and co-op advertising program
• Implement company advertising and promotion activities
• Administer company agency compensation programs, including the evaluation of changes needed to provide sustainable, profitable growth for the company and agents
• Manage cluster agency relationships to foster positive growth and increase market share opportunities
• Oversee and manage the corporate producer development training program
• Maintain development of the company VUE system

Relocation assistance (to Central PA) is available.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 - 10 years marketing experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, including knowledge of the independent agency system
• Proven track record of building and managing a high-quality staff capable of growing a profitable book of business
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel on a frequent basis, including overnight stays
• Successful business relationships internally and externally
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
