- Ability to reduce workers' compensation costs by providing insightful information to stakeholders in easy-to-use format.
- Validation of the effectiveness of Risk Controls efforts to reduce claim frequency, severity and charges to the customer.
- Performing enterprise-wide risk assessment, financial risk modeling, and capital management.
- Designing, implementing, tracking and improving analytical models.
- Developing proper information systems and reporting methods to measure success in risk management operations.
- Using high degree of business acumen and exhibiting high EQ to work with many internal and external stakeholders.

Director of Risk Finance Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial sciences, finance, accounting, or related business field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Work experience can be a combination of time spent in ancillary industries such as insurance companies, insurance brokerage firms, or other related industries.
- A strong aptitude and track record of quantitative analysis, modeling, and related strategy development to improve profitability and incent desirable behavior within an organization.
