We are seeking a Commercial Underwriting Quality Assurance Manager in Marietta, PA. The Commercial Lines Quality Assurance Manager provides leadership, guidance and direction to the commercial underwriting staff to achieve profitable underwriting results:

• Ensure the company's underwriting policies, procedures and guidelines are compliant with overall goals and objectives
• Work directly with the underwriting staff to promote a continuous improvement environment through the consistent application of the established quality assurance program
• Participate in the training and development of the staff to improve underwriting knowledge and skills
• Working in conjunction with the management team to foster an environment of underwriting quality and integrity
• Ensure high-quality service is delivered to the independent agents and support the underwriters as they manage assigned agents for profitability and growth

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/insurance related discipline
• Minimum five years commercial underwriting experience
• Proven record of building a successful underwriting team through leadership responsibilities
• Thorough understanding of property and casualty insurance industry
• Demonstration of self-development through attainment of professional insurance designations
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic computer skills (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products)
